Square Terminal requires an internet connection. Connect Square Terminal to the internet via Wi-Fi, or via Ethernet with an optional Hub. When you don’t have an internet connection, you can use Offline Mode to take payments.
Square Terminal can do even more for your business when you connect the right accessories. With a countertop mount, you can secure Square Terminal and make checkout even more seamless. Use a belt clip to easily carry Square Terminal with you, attaching it to your belt, pants, or apron for orders and sales on the go.
